GED Classes Hattiesburg, Mississippi

This page includes a full listing of GED® classes and testing sites in the Hattiesburg region.

Mississippi is using three options for HSE (High School Equivalency) testing, the HiSET, GED, and TASC.

HSE testing gives people who didn’t graduate high school one more chance to secure an equivalent diploma.

The GED exam is entirely computerized while the TASC and HiSET are offered in two formats: on paper and on a computer.

The GED has four individual subtests (modules) in Math, Social Studies, Science, and Literacy that must be completed within two years.

The TASC and HiSET have individual writing and reading tests, so five in total, that can’t be taken separately.
