GED Classes Spokane, Washington

Posted here is an overview of all GED® class locations and testing facilities in the Spokane region. The state of Washington is using the computer-based GED exam for high school equivalency testing.

GED testing can be done online or at one of Washington State’s certified GED testing sites.

The GED exam tests knowledge in comparison to what students must command when they graduate from high school.

There are four independent GED modules (subtests) in the subject fields of math, science, literacy, and social studies.

You can take one of the four subtests (modules) when you are ready to do so. There’s no requirement to complete it all in one take.

Until recently, testing could be done only at designated sites. There was no online GED testing option.

This has now changed, however, with the introduction of the online GED testing format. Learn more at the bottom of this post.

The online GED test introduced

Until recently, taking the GED exam in an online format never was an option. To secure your Washington State GED (General Education Development) credential, your personal appearance at an official, state-approved GED test center was required.

Well, this has now changed as we saw the arrival of an online proctored option to sit for the four GED subtests. Students that qualify for taking the test online and choose to do so will see an online proctor who monitors their activities and checks if everything goes according to some rather strict regulations. For more information, check out Welcoming online GED testing.
