How about online GED testing?

This is not possible, you need to come personally to an authorized GED testing site. The GED exam is not available over the internet, and please beware of fraudulent websites that try to sell their “GED diplomas” or GED certificates” online. Their documents are worthless. Go to GED testing in Washington State for eligibility requirements.

If you want information about the lowered GED passing scores (reduced to 145), visit this GED scoring news page and here’s also a link to a page that lists all U.S. GED testing centers and GED prep programs.

*) The Institute for Extended Learning

The Institute for Extended Learning has teamed up with Spokane Community College. Spokane Community College offers GED prep classes through the school’s adult education and extended learning division. Additionally, the school takes care of GED education at several off-campus sites. SCC offers an array of adult education programs for learners of various ages in Spokane, Ferry, Oreille, Pend, and Stevens counties.

The school’s GED (General Educational Development) classes are set up to help individuals without a high school diploma pet all geared up to take and pass the 4 tests of the GED exam. If they pass, they will receive the state-issued High School Equivalency Certificate, a document that is nationally accepted just like a normal high school diploma.

The GED diploma will open many doors, you will be able to enroll in academic programs of colleges, universities, and other training programs, you can join the military, find better employment, and be eligible for job advancement.

Getting your GED diploma is your first step toward having a better future. Tuition for these GED preparation classes is $25 per quarter, and the price of the four GED tests is $120 ($30 per module).
