The GED (General Education Development) exam has four separate subtests (modules) in Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

The four GED subtests are entirely computer-based modules that can be taken one at a time.

GED testing takes place at a level that compares to that of graduating high school students.

It used to be that the GED subtests could be taken at official Idaho GED test centers only. There was no online option, but that has now changed with the arrival of a new, online, proctored GED test-taking option. Read more below.

Goodwill is a major charity in this region as it is all across America. The organization is essential for the improvement of the quality of life for numerous individuals in Eastern Washington and North Idaho.

Goodwill’s retail stores’ revenues allow for supporting the organization’s local programs, and from every dollar made from the sale of donated items in Goodwill’s retail stores and outlets, more than 85 cents are used to fund programs in local communities. Great work.

Introducing an online GED testing option

Sitting for the four GED subtests was, until recently, only possible state-designated test centers. The GED exam was simply not offered via the internet. To earn an Idaho GED diploma, your personal appearance at an official GED testing site was required.

But now, with the introduction of a new online GED testing format, that has all changed. If you take the GED exam online, an online proctor will guide you through the test-taking process and see if you do everything correctly. Visit this article for more detailed information: ‘Online GED Test Introduced’.
