GED Classes Sioux Falls, South Dakota

This article lists all GED prep class sites and testing centers in the Sioux Falls area. South Dakota uses the computer-based GED exam for its high school equivalency testing program.

GED testing can be done online or at state-certified South Dakota GED testing facilities.

The GED exam gives men and women who didn’t finish high school the opportunity to acquire an equivalent degree.

The GED includes four independent subtests assessing a test-taker’s knowledge in these subject fields:

• Social Studies
• Science
• English Language Literacy
• Math

You are allowed to take one subject test when you are sufficiently prepared. You don’t have to complete everything in one take.

Until recently, GED testing could exclusively be done at official South Dakota test centers. There was no online testing option.

Introducing Online Proctored GED Testing

In earlier days, the GED exam was not offered via the Internet. If you were looking to acquire a GED degree, you were required to report in person to one of South Dakota’s state-designated GED testing facilities.
