GED Classes Rome, Georgia

Listed on this page is an overview of GED® preparatory class locations and testing sites in the Rome area. Georgia uses the computer-based GED examination for the state’s High School Equivalency Testing program.

The GED program is geared towards people who did not complete high school and offers them the chance to earn an equivalent degree.

There are four individual GED subtests in Math (Mathematical Reasoning), Social Studies, Literacy (Reasoning through Language Arts), and Science.

You are given two years to complete the entire GED battery.

There is NO online GED testing possibility. You need to show up at one of Georgia’s official GED testing sites and sit for the tests in person.

The four GED modules measure your academic proficiency at a level that compares to that of high school grads.
