This is an overview of all GED prep facilities and testing sites in the Panama City region. Florida makes use of the GED test for its high school equivalency testing program.

GED testing is possible at state-designated test centers and online. Florida has, however, suspended the online version of the GED test. For more details about online GED testing, check below.

The assessment offers adults without a high school diploma another chance at obtaining an equivalent degree.

The GED® exam addresses basic knowledge and skills that high school students must command upon graduation.

The GED exam includes four subtests in the following subject fields:

• Language
• Social Studies

You have the freedom to prepare for and take these four computer-based subtests one at a time.

Introducing the Online GED Exam

For test-takers looking to earn their GED diplomas, there was never an online testing option. That is, until recently! If you wanted to earn your GED, you had to show up personally at an official Florida GED test center and pass the four GED modules.

But now that has all changed with the arrival of a new online proctored GED test where an online proctor helps you all through the testing process. Check out the post ‘The online proctored GED exam’ to learn more. Please be aware, however, that Florida suspended the online GED exam.
