The GED exam has four independent subtests measuring the knowledge level in these subjects:

• Science

The four GED modules are entirely computer-based and can be written separately and in any order.

The diploma that you will be awarded after successfully completing the Connecticut GED exam is accepted just like a high school degree by employers and colleges.

New Britain Adult Education Center accepts residents to take part in its programs who are 17 or older, who are no longer signed up for high school, and who don’t have a secondary education credential. All locations are handicapped-accessible, and accommodations for persons with a disability can be provided if requested, so contact the Center at 860-229-6106. All educational programs are offered free of charge, and the Center doesn’t charge any fee as well for textbooks and materials.

Online Proctored GED Test

Sitting for the GED test via the Internet was never an option. You had to come, in person, to one of Connecticut’s state-approved GED testing facilities if you were looking to earn a high school equivalency diploma.
