Online GED Classes

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

Learn fast, stay motivated, and pass your GED quickly.

GED testing is possible online and at one of Connecticut’s state-approved test centers. For more details about the online GED test, check below.

The assessment is for adults without a high school diploma and provides another chance to earn an equivalent degree.

The GED® exam contains four independent modules (or subtests) that may be taken separately.

The four subtests measure a student’s proficiency level in these subjects:

  • Social studies, including Geography and History
  • Mathematics
  • English Language Literacy
  • Science, including Earth and Space Science, Physics, and Chemistry

The GED sub-exams may be written separately and in any order.

Online GED Testing Option

Taking the GED test via the Internet was, until recently, never an option. You were required to appear in person at an official Connecticut testing site if you were looking to earn your Connecticut high school equivalency credential.

Now, all of that has changed as a new online proctored GED test was introduced with the use of an online proctor who will guide you through the testing process. Check out “Introducing the online GED test” for more information.
