  • Math
  • Language Reading
  • Language Writing
  • Science
  • Social Studies

The HiSET exam is offered both on paper and on a computer, whereas the GED is offered exclusively on a computer.

The HiSET and GED exams give persons who didn’t graduate high school an extra chance to earn an equivalent diploma.

Testing takes place at a level similar to what graduating high school students must command upon graduation.

There’s also the possibility of taking the HiSET or GED exam online. So, to earn your Indiana HSE diploma, you can take the GED or HiSET exam online or at a state-designated testing site.
