TASC Essay Topic and Sample

TASC affordability

Indiana stopped using the GED (General Education Development) for the state’s High School Equivalency (HSE) testing program in early 2014 and switched to the TASC exam. The GED is offered exclusively on a computer whereas the TASC is available both on paper and on a computer. The Indiana HSE diploma is across North America accepted in lieu of a common high school diploma. For eligibility information go to TASC in Indiana.

The TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) exam ensures that Indiana continues to offer a high school equivalency exam that meets up employers’ demands and is accessible and affordable. During the coming years, the TASC exam is going to be brought in line with the College and Career Readiness Standards, and will gradually become more rigorous to satisfy industry demands and requirements.

TASC passing score

To pass the test, the minimally required TASC score is 500 points (800 max) for each of the five subject area tests and no less than 2 (8 max) for the essay section.  Holding the HSE diploma will certainly result in far better job opportunities and qualifies for a college education.

Check out the listing above to see where you can get the assistance you require to get all set for the TASC exam. Many prep sites provide academic instruction that will help you learn for your diploma successfully. Take also a regular look at this website’s news posts for student success and information about the best careers. This website also offers highly effective free video lessons and a wide range of useful practice tests that are based on the latest technology. You won’t need a year or longer to get ready for the test if you are self-disciplined and ready to work hard while using online study resources. Another advantage of online learning is that you can do so at times that fit your calendar and that meet your other obligations.

As said above, the TASC includes five testing fields: Language Arts Reading, Language Arts Writing, Science, Math, and Social Studies. Your local school board staff may help you with advice on how to study effectively and you could also visit job fair and education or business events to find employment or learn all about college courses and the application process. If you are ready to spend hours on learning, you’ll pass the test and which allows for better financial health as individuals with a secondary education degree may expect to earn around 10K more annually than persons who do not have the degree. So boost your skills and knowledge and get your High School Equivalency diploma!

Online GED-TASC testing?

No, you cannot take the GED or the TASC exam via the internet. The exam must be taken at an official GED/TASC testing site and the exam is available in English, Spanish, and French. Beware of websites that radiate another story. There is just NO online high school equivalency testing. Online-obtained documents have no value whatsoever. Online prep courses are okay, though. In Indiana, the minimally required age for testing is 16 but if a child is 16 or 17, stringent criteria apply.
