Online GED Testing

Taking the GED test online was never an option until a few years ago. You were always required to show up in person at one of North Dakota’s official, state-approved GED testing sites if you planned to earn your GED degree.

Fortunately, with the launch of an online proctored GED test, that has changed. A proctor will verify whether your online testing efforts comply with the rules and regulations. If you want to learn more about this intriguing new development, check out this post -> ‘Introducing the online GED test.’

To qualify for the online GED test, you must have reached passing scores on the official practice test GED Ready. This test is available at GED.com and costs $7.99.

All four GED subject tests require you to pass a GED Ready test for that subject, so that’s four, setting you back $32 on top of the regular testing fees.

Students learning for their GED test with an Onsego Advantage Plan are lucky. For them, there’s no need to purchase any GED Ready tests, as their plans include four GED Ready vouchers at no additional cost, a wonderful $32 bonus!
