GED Classes Cincinnati Ohio

Listed in this post are all GED prep class locations and test centers in the Cincinnati area. Ohio uses the computer-formatted GED exam for its High School Equivalency (HSE) Testing Program.

Additionally, Ohio welcomed an alternative testing option, the HiSET exams.

Pass the GED Test in 2 Months

Learn Just 1 Hour a Day.
It doesn’t matter when you left school.

GED® and HiSET testing can be done online and at state-approved Ohio HSE testing centers. For more information about the recently introduced online GED and HiSET options, check the bottom of this page.

The exams offer adults who never graduated high school the chance to earn an equivalent credential.

Some students prefer to get all set for the GED exam under the supervision of a teacher at a brick-and-mortar physical prep site. Others prefer to study for the exam with a good online program. This website’s free practice tests and free GED online classes help you determine which option is best for you.

If learning with an online course suits you well, we advise you to continue with Onsego GED Prep, an engaging, comprehensive program that GED Testing Service qualifies as “fully GED Test-Aligned.”

Online GED Classes

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

The GED consists of four independent subtests (independent modules) covering:

  • Engish Language Literacy
  • Math
  • Science
  • Social Studies

You have the option to deal with the four GED subtests at a time.

The HiSET comes with five subtests (Literacy is split up into reading and writing tests) that can be taken separately as well.

The HiSET exam is offered in both a paper-based and a computerized format, while the GED must be taken on a computer.

Welcoming GED and HiSET Online Testing

In earlier days, if you wanted to acquire your high school equivalency diploma in Ohio, you needed to appear in person at an official HSE testing center. But now, we’ve seen some great new developments with the introduction of online proctored options to sit for the GED and HiSET tests.

To get informed about the newly launched online HiSET testing option, check out this article: Introducing the online HiSET test, and for information about the new online proctored GED exam, go to this page: Introducing the online GED test.
