GED Classes Louisville, Kentucky

Posted here are all GED® class sites and testing centers in the Louisville region. Kentucky uses the GED exam for the state’s high school equivalency testing program.

The GED exam is given at state-approved GED test centers and online.

The GED program is for adults who never completed their high school education and offers them the chance to earn an equivalent degree.

The GED (General Education Development) exam consists of four separate subtests on the fields of Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies.

You can take these subtests one (or more) at a time. There’s no requirement to complete the entire GED battery in one take.

Across America, the GED diploma is accepted in lieu of a high school degree by schools, government agencies, and employers.

In the past, online GED testing was not possible You needed to come to a state-approved GED testing center in person, but the arrival of a new online GED test has changed all of that. Read more below.
