This is an overview of all GED prep locations and test centers in The Bronx, New York. New York State used the TASC exam for its high school equivalency testing program from 2014 until December 2021, but this program was discontinued.

The GED assessment gives persons who didn’t finish high school the chance to obtain an equivalent degree. If you passed portions of the TASC exam, your scores are also good for your GED®!

The GED program Bronx NY is entirely computerized. Paper-based testing is a thing of the past, and this makes sense since most jobs require applicants to command at least basic computer skills.

The GED exam is scored on a 100-200 scale, and the passing score on each of the four subtests is 145.

The GED test is available at official testing sites and in an online proctored (O.P.) format, though this last option is not (yet) available in New York State.
