GED Classes Brainerd, Minnesota

This post lists all GED® prep facilities and testing centers in the Brainerd region. Minnesota is using the computer-formatted GED exam for high school equivalency (HSE) testing.

The HiSET and GED exams can be taken online and at state-certified GED test centers.

We recommend the Online GED Program from Onsego. It’s Simple, Fast & Easy. Onsego Provides Everything You Need To Get Your GED. Learn More.

HSE testing gives individuals who never completed high school the chance to acquire an equivalent credential.

The GED measures knowledge at a similar level as what students must know when they graduate from high school.

There are four separate GED modules (subtests) in Science, Math, Social Studies, and Literacy.

You can take one subtest at a time. There’s no need to complete the four GED subtests in one take.

GED testing must be done entirely on a computer. Paper-based testing is something of the past.

It doesn’t matter when you left school.

This makes actually sense as there’s hardly any job out there that doesn’t require basic computing skills.

Until recently, there was no online option to take the GED exam. That has changed with the arrival of an online proctored GED testing option. You can find more information at the bottom of this page.

Online GED testing option welcomed

Until recently, it was not possible to take the GED exam over the internet. To earn your GED diploma, you had to come, in person, to a state-approved Minnesota GED testing center and take the four GED modules face-to-face. Well, that has now changed as an online proctored GED test was recently introduced. If you want to learn more, visit this page: ‘Introducing the online proctored GED test’.
