This post lists all GED prep facilities and testing centers in the Brainerd region. Minnesota is using the computer-formatted GED exam for high school equivalency testing.
The GED exam can be taken online and at state-certified testing centers.
Online GED Classes
A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.
The exam gives individuals who never completed high school the chance to earn an equivalent credential.
The GED exam measures knowledge at a level similar to what students must know when they graduate from high school.
This makes sense, actually, as there’s hardly any job out there that doesn’t require basic computing skills.

In earlier days, there was no online option to take the GED exam. That has changed with the arrival of an online proctored GED testing option. You can find more information at the bottom of this page.

What is on the GED Test
There are four separate GED modules (subtests) that measure knowledge of
- Science
- Math
- Social Studies
- English Language
You can take one subtest at a time in any desired order. There’s no need to complete the four GED subtests in one sitting.
GED testing must be done entirely on a computer. Paper-based testing is something of the past.
Online GED Testing
Until some years back, it was not possible to take the GED exam over the Internet. To earn your GED diploma, you had to come, in person, to a state-approved Minnesota GED testing center and take the four GED modules face-to-face. Well, that has now changed as an online proctored GED test was introduced. If you want to learn more, visit this page: ‘The online proctored GED test.’
