GED Classes Alexander City, Alabama

This article lists all GED prep sites and testing facilities in the Alexander City region. In Alabama, you need to pass the GED to earn the state’s high school equivalency diploma.

The test offers individuals who did not graduate from high school the opportunity to earn an equivalent diploma.

There are four individual GED® subtests that can be taken separately.

The subtests are in Science, Social Studies, Math (Mathematical Reasoning), and Literacy (Reasoning through Language Arts).

There is now also an online GED testing possibility for qualifying test-takers. Read more below.

The GED test is rather challenging. The four tests assess skills and knowledge at a level similar to what graduating high school students are expected to command.
