GED Classes Vineland, New Jersey

Included in this post is an overview of all GED® prep sites and testing facilities in the Vineland region.

New Jersey offers multiple options to earn your high school equivalency (HSE) diploma, the GED, TASC, and HiSET exams.

The HSE testing program is for persons who did not complete high school and offers them the chance to earn an equivalent degree.

The GED exam comes with four individual modules (subtests) in Literacy, Math, Social Studies, and Science that need to be completed within two years.

TASC and HiSET testing is one through five separate subtests as the Literacy parts have individual tests in writing and reading.

In New Jersey, all three options are done computer-based, no more paper-based testing!

Can I join the army with a GED?

Adjusted GED passing score

If you want to learn all about the adjusted GED passing score (lowered five points to 145), check out this GED News page.  You could also be interested to see this post that has links to all GED programs in America. Please note that online HSE testing is NOT possible, not for the GED, not for the TASC, and not for the HiSET. Testing is done at official testing sites, not online!

The GED exam – what’s new?

The most noticeable alteration to the new GED exam is that it is now completely computer based. This means that applicants should at least have some typing and computer training before they can sit for the set of four GED tests.

The GED exam covers some additional subjects in the Math and Science parts and has also some blended issues matter within all four sections (this means that candidates will notice there are questions in the science part that require math knowledge come up with numerical answers, or questions in the social studies section that require essay-writing competencies, and so on). With the new GED exam, you can take one test or ‘module’ at a time within a 2-year time frame and the TASC and HiSET modules may also be dealt with separately.

Online GED exam?

No, there is no such thing as an online GED exam. To take the four tests, you need to go to a state-designated GED testing center. The internet can be a great source of study material but if you want to earn a GED diploma, you are required to take the tests in person, and don’t forget to carry your valid photo-ID! TASC and HiSET can also NOT be done over the internet!

GED-HiSET-TASC preparation

The new GED exam has become pretty hard to pass, and test takers who are not prepared sufficiently are really required to take HSE prep classes at one of the facilities listed above or follow an online course. Successfully taking the New Jersey High School Equivalency Examination will prove to be critical for your future.

The HSE (high school equivalency) diploma opens doors to a college education, better job options, and a better life in general. In case you never finished your high school education, you really shouldn’t miss out on this fantastic chance to get your life to the next level and get the bright future you deserve.

Testing sites decide on which of the options they work with, the new GED (designed by Pearson Vue), the HiSET (High School Equivalency Test, designed by EST – Educational Testing Service), or the TASC (Test of Adult Secondary Completion, a McGraw-Hill product).

As stated before, the GED included four individual subject tests (modules) that must be dealt with in a period of maximally two years. The testing fields are Math, Science, Social Studies, and Literacy. The TASC and HiSET have five subtests because the Literacy section has separate writing and reading tests.

Learn new skills and get a better job

Nowadays, we noticed that the more the population arises, the more uneducated arises too. There are many reasons why these phenomena happened, maybe because of the lack of concerns from GED Math Practice Testthe government or from the system of the family itself. Education, as we all know, is a very important element in every person. Due to education, we can have better chances to succeed.

Though we could not generally say that because of education we became rich, because there are some who did not finish even in their high school diploma and yet became one of the luxurious persons on earth, it actually depends on whatever strategy you mastered in becoming rich and famous.

In order to get a better job you need to develop new skills, and sometimes that means you need to go back to school and follow some educational programs that will help you get a new certificate or diploma.

There are many programs and schools that can help you get new qualifications or certifications. We are here to give you tips and resources and yes, inspiration too. We hope you will become as successful as you have ever dreamed.

If you don’t have a High School Diploma, you need to get yourself into one of the GED programs. A GED certificate has the same value as an HS diploma and successfully completing the GED exam will allow you to get into college, or maybe get a better job.

Many websites provide a comprehensive overview of  GED lessons around the country and show addresses and phone numbers of (almost) all official testing centers in the US too. Keep in mind that every state has different requirements for GED testing.
