Online GED and HiSET Testing
People looking to earn their California High School Equivalency Diploma can take the HiSET or GED exam online as well. Until very recently, there was no option to take the GED or HiSET exam online. It just wasn’t available. Test takers were required to come to a state-designated GED test center and sit for the exam in person.
That has changed, though. The GED and HiSET exams are now also offered in an online, proctored format. You can read more here: Online proctored HiSET testing, and for the GED exam, check out The online proctored GED test.
Your Future
So, you have finally decided to buckle down and take the GED or HiSET exam. In the job market of today, it is almost impossible to even get a job without a high school or equivalent diploma.
Fortunately, when you get your HSE diploma, that is just what you will have. The high school equivalency diploma not only qualifies you for a better job, but it is also your ticket to higher education.
Most colleges and employers in this day and age consider a GED diploma to be a true high school equivalent diploma. Therefore, there are really no grounds for you to feel substandard to your coworkers or classmates. As an added benefit, there are numerous scholarships available exclusively to GED diploma holders.
Make sure to get properly prepared. The tests haven’t become any easier. Successfully passing one of them will result in the California High School Equivalency Diploma, a credential that’s nationwide accepted in lieu of a high school degree. Testing centers may decide which exam they use, so get in touch with your nearest testing site for specifics.
