The certificate that you will be awarded upon successfully completing the Vermont GED exam is nationally recognized and accepted in the same way as a high school diploma by state and federal government institutions, businesses, and colleges and universities.
Vermont Adult Learning additionally provides a program for non-citizens who want to learn and study to become American citizens. The program centers on reading and writing and focuses on American history as well.
This program has highly flexible scheduling to ensure everybody can be served. Teachers will help you build up your democratic “VOICE” via special tests so you can earn your U.S. citizenship.
The Online GED Test
Until a few years back, there was no online GED exam available. If you wanted to earn your Vermont GED credential, you needed to show up personally at an official, state-recognized GED testing site.
A few years back, however, that changed with the introduction of the online option to sit for the four GED modules.
An online proctor monitors whether you do it all in line with strict regulations. If you want to learn more about this development, check out this page: ‘Introducing the online GED test.
