Online GED Classes

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

Learn fast, stay motivated, and pass your GED quickly.

The GED test is available online and at state-approved Virginia GED test centers.

The exam gives adults who did not finish high school the opportunity to earn an equivalent credential.

Testing occurs at a level comparable to that of HS seniors upon graduation.

There are four GED® subtests that can be written one at a time if wished. The four subtests cover:

  • Language Arts
  • Social Studies
  • Math
  • Science

Online GED testing had, until recently, never been possible. You were always required to come to a state-designated test center and sit for the tests in person.

Introducing Online Proctored GED Testing

In the past, you couldn’t sit for the GED exam via the Internet. If you wanted to secure your GED diploma, you always had to present yourself at an official Virginia GED testing facility.

This has now changed. Recently, we saw the launch of a new online GED testing option. Qualifying GED students now have the choice to take the GED test from the comfort of their homes.

An online proctor will monitor their testing activities and check if everything happens in line with the rules. If you would like to read about this great new development, go to ‘The online proctored GED test.’
