Listed here are all GED® prep locations and test centers in the Port Saint Lucie area.
Florida uses the GED (General Education Development) for High School Equivalency testing.
The GED test offers adults who couldn’t finish high school the opportunity to earn an equivalent credential.
The GED test must be taken on a computer and contains four independent subtests in Social Studies, Science, Literacy, and Mathematics.
You have the freedom to take one subtest (module) at a time and scores count for two years from the time of your first registration.
Online GED testing is NOT an option. You are required to show up at a state-certified GED testing center and take the four subtests in person.

The GED exam – who is it for?
The GED program is intended to help people who never got a secondary education degree and guides them through the process towards acquiring a comparable diploma or certificate. Adults who never completed their regular high school education now have another chance to demonstrate their level of knowledge and skills.
Applicants need to be 18 or over, though for 16/17 year old’s exceptions can be made under strict conditions (check with a GED testing site or prep class). Applicants can not already have a high school diploma, and must not be signed up for another educational program. The GED passing score is 145 points for each GED subtest.
GED online registration
The GED program has some great advantages. Registration has become very simple at MyGED. Go to GED.com to discover all aspects of the new system and sign up with MyGED. You will have access to a wealth of information about registration, scheduling tests, canceling or changing test dates, job possibilities or specifics about universities and colleges. Scheduling can be done 24/7 and you can indicate the day and time that suit you best. You don’t need to take all 4 tests at once, you can schedule one test and pay only for that test. This way you can become best prepared every time.
Success … All of us desire it, talk about it, covet those which attain it, we consider it, fight for it. It is truly worth it. Success is reaching our aims and it brings us matchless contentment and happiness. That offers us a one-of-a-kind possibility to be satisfied each day, if we achieve little targets daily and step by step we will be approaching our FANTASTIC dream.
