This post is an overview of all GED prep sites and testing centers in and around Las Vegas. Nevada offers two options to earn your High School Equivalency Diploma, the HiSET and GED tests.

It doesn’t matter when you left school.
The exams give persons who didn’t graduate high school the chance to secure an equivalent credential.
Both tests measure knowledge at a level that’s comparable to that of graduating HS students.
The computerized GED® has four independent subtests (modules) in Literacy, Science, Social Studies, and Math.
You can take one GED subtest at a time. No need to complete the four GED tests in one testing session.
The HiSET® exam offers both paper-and-pencil and computerized testing and includes five sub-tests (Literacy has separate Reading and Writing tests).
The HiSET subtests may, if wished, also be taken separately.

If you want to prepare and take the HiSET or GED test, CSN offers you both options. Applicants need to pre-register in person and bring proper identification. The school’s GED prep classes cost $135, but free prep classes are offered at the school’s Sahara West Center (2409 Las Verdes Street, Las Vegas, NV 89102, 702-651-4487).

Welcoming Online GED And HiSET Testing
The GED and HiSET exams used to be exclusively offered at state-approved HSE testing facilities. There simply was no online option. But now, we have witnessed the introduction of online test-taking options for both the GED and the HiSET exams.
