Arizona GED Practice Test

Online GED Testing

You can now take the GED test over the Internet as well. To get hold of your Arizona GED diploma, you were required to show up at one of Arizona’s official GED testing centers personally, but now, with the arrival of online GED testing, that has changed.

To qualify for the online GED test, you’ll first have to reach passing scores on the GED Ready test. If you qualify, a proctor will help you manage the entire process. The online version of the GED test is exactly the same as the in-person version. More details are found here: The online proctored GED exam.

The GED Exam

The GED exam measures essential study subjects that students learn in high school, and subject areas covered in GED preparation classes consist of reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, the four testing subject fields. The GED has combined the former language sections writing and reading into one Language Arts part.

The GED passing score on each subtest is 145 out of 200 points. The diploma or certificate is recognized and approved by universities and colleges, employers, and government institutions throughout the US.

The GED brings knowledge and skills people will need for any kind of work in the modern-day job market and to successfully follow studies at college or university. The GED passing standards are set in a way that 40% of high school graduates would not pass on the first try. Averaging is not possible.
