Better Job Options

The General Education Development program (commonly referred to as GED) is designed to give adults who left high school early another chance to earn a credential recognized across North America as equivalent to a standard high school diploma.

GED graduates can pursue a college education and will be eligible for better jobs and advancement. Go to ‘Arkansas GED testing requirements’ for qualification criteria, costs, and so forth.

Your Ticket to Higher Education

Millions of Americans have left high school without a diploma, while at the same time, we see millions of unfilled positions that require a secondary education. So, getting your GED diploma will surely improve your chances in the job market.

Nowadays, you not only have a second chance to get a secondary education degree via the GED diploma, but you can also take another chance by enrolling in an online high school diploma program and thus demonstrate academic ability.

Both tracks work towards the same goal: helping applicants get better job options, become more competitive in the workplace, and pursue a college education.

There are, however, some discrepancies between these two tracks. When you are in doubt about whether to go for a GED diploma or try to get a high school diploma via online learning, contact a school near you.

Online GED Testing

It is also possible to take the GED exam online. In earlier times, test-takers had to report to one of Arkansas’ state-designated GED test centers in person to earn an Arkansas GED.

Well, the arrival of an online GED test a few years back changed all of that. An online proctor will oversee if everything occurs according to the rules.

For more information, check out this post -> ‘The online proctored GED test.’

Online GED testing is only available if you have first scored in the “green zone” on the GED Ready practice test by GED Testing Service.

All four GED subtests require you to take and pass a GED Ready test first, so that’s four overall at an additional cost of $32 ($7.99 per practice test).

Free GED Ready Tests

If you choose to study for your GED with an Advantage Plan from Onsego, there’s no need to buy these practice tests. All Advantage Plans include four vouchers for the GED Ready test at no charge.

So, you save $32 with the Onsego Advantage Program, and there’s more: you’ll also get highly effective support courses, complete access to the study materials and lessons from the start, and much more, all at no additional cost!

Advantage Plans by Onsego are already available at $79 for the 6-month option, which includes all the bonuses mentioned.

Should we include or delist a facility? Are updates/adjustments required? Please inform us here.
