On this page, we list all GED and HiSET prep locations and testing sites in the Warner Robins region. Georgia is using two options for its high school equivalency testing program: the GED and HiSET exams.

Both the GED and HiSET exams are offered at state-recognized test centers and in online formats.

The assessments give adults who don’t have a high school diploma one more shot at securing an equivalent degree.

The GED® test has four subtests that measure an applicant’s knowledge level in these fields:

• Language Arts
• Mathematics
• Social Studies, including History, Economics, and Geography
• Science, including Physics and Chemistry

These sub-exams are independent modules that may be completed individually and in any order.

HiSET® testing comes with five subtests, as there are individual reading and writing tests. These subtests can also be taken separately.

Both the GED and HiSET assess knowledge at a similar level as may be expected of graduating high school seniors. The GED test is entirely computer-based, while the HiSET can be taken on paper or on a computer.

Both tests had, until recently, to be taken exclusively at state-approved testing sites. Online testing was not possible. Now, however, with the arrival of online proctored GED and HiSET testing options, that has all changed. Read more below.

Introducing Online GED and HiSET Tests

It used to be that the GED and HiSET exams could only be taken at state-designated testing centers. Online testing was just not available. To earn your Georgia HSE (high school equivalency) diploma, you had to report personally to one of Georgia’s official test centers.

But that has changed! New, online, proctored GED and HiSET testing options are now also available, and if you take one of the exams online, a proctor will help you through the test-taking process and will check if you do it all in line with the regulations.
