Online GED Classes

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

Learn fast, stay motivated, and pass your GED quickly.

The GED exam is entirely computerized, whereas the HiSET can be taken on a computer or in a paper-based format.

The exams can be taken at certified test centers or in an online proctored format. The exams provide adults who didn’t graduate high school with an extra option to earn an equivalent degree.

The GED® and HiSET® measure knowledge at a level that is comparable to what students learn during four years in high school.

The GED has four subtests (independent modules) that measure students’ proficiency in these academic subjects:

  • Language Arts
  • Social Studies
  • Mathematics
  • Science

These modules can be written separately and in any order.

It doesn’t matter when you left school

The HiSET exam has separate writing and reading subtests, so five in total, that can also be taken one at a time.

Until recently, you were required to come to a state-approved testing site and take the four GED subtests in person. The introduction of new online GED and HiSET test-taking options, however, has changed this. You can read more at the bottom of this page.

Introducing the Online GED and HiSET Exams

Until recently, taking the computer-based GED test was exclusively available at state-approved GED testing centers. There simply was no option to take the GED online. If you were looking to earn a Georgia GED diploma, your personal appearance was required if you wanted to take and pass the GED modules. Now, Georgia has also welcomed the HiSET exam.

Both exams are now also offered in an online proctored format. When you use this online testing format, an online GED or HiSET proctor will help you with everything while simultaneously checking if all goes according to strict rules.

To learn more, go to this page: ‘The online GED test’ for details about the online GED exam, and for information about the HiSET-At-Home option, <- check here.
