Four Independent GED tests
The GED has four independent subtests, or modules, in these fields:

- Science, incl. Physics, Scientific Method, Chemistry

You have the option to complete the four GED modules in your desired order and one (or more) at a time.

Online GED Testing
GED testing was, until some years ago, not available via the Internet. To secure your GED, your appearance was required at one of Minnesota’s state-designated GED test centers, where you had to take the four subtests face-to-face.
This has changed with the introduction of the online proctored GED test. If you want to learn more, visit ‘Introducing the online proctored GED test.’
To qualify for online GED testing, you first will have to reach passing scores (in the “green” zone) on the GED Ready practice test.
This is the official practice test from GED Testing Service, and there’s one for each of the four GED subtests, making it 4 tests that cost $7.99 each on the GED.com website
So that is $32 in total, on top of the testing fees. If you don’t pass the GED Ready test, you cannot register for the online test.
Onsego students with an Advantage Plan (available from $79) get four GED Ready tests for free, as that’s included in their plan, a $32 bonus!
Do we have to list or remove a location? Are adjustments required? Please advise us here.
