The GED® exam has four individual subtests (modules) that may be completed separately and in any order. Testing is done at a level that compares to that of high school students upon graduation.

The GED exam is fully computer-based. Paper-based testing is not available anymore, so you also need to work on your computer and keyboarding skills.

The four GED sub-exams (independent modules) measure a student’s academic knowledge in these subjects:

DSU’s GED class aims to prepare applicants to take and pass the four tests that make up the GED exam (language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science) and focuses mostly on math and writing. The GED class tuition is $429, which includes all materials.

Online GED Testing

Until recently, sitting for the GED test via the Internet was no option. To get hold of your GED diploma, you needed to appear personally at one of Delaware’s official GED testing sites and pass the four GED subtests.
