Online GED Testing
Sitting for the GED exam is now also possible online. In the past, GED test-takers needed to come to an official Arkansas GED test center personally when they were looking to secure an Arkansas GED diploma. Well, that has now all changed.
The GED test is now available in an online format as well, and an online proctor will help students all through the process and see if it all happens according to the rules. For more information, check out ‘The online proctored GED test.’
Who Qualifies?
The Arkansas GED High School Equivalency program serves all Arkansans 16 years and older who have quit high school early and are not engaged in a high school program. Applicants 16 or 17 years of age may sit for the examination if they are not signed up for school, and they must have an allowance from their school district and their parents.
GED Passing Score
To pass the four GED subtests, you are required to score at least 145 points on each individual subtest, and averaging is not possible. The tests are scored on a 100 to 200 scale. The GED diploma opens the door to a college education and will definitely result in better employment options.
