Both the GED and HiSET can be taken online and at state-certified test centers. The TASC exam was discontinued.

In New Jersey, both tests must be taken on a computer. The days of paper-based testing are over.

The (high school equivalency test gives adults who left high school without a diploma the chance to earn an equivalent degree.

Testing occurs at a level comparable to that of graduating high school students.

The HiSET test comes with five subtests (individual reading and writing tests) that may also be taken independently.

In the past, there was no option to take the HiSET or GED online. That has now changed with the launch of online GED and HiSET testing options. Learn more below at the bottom of this post.

NOT a GED program. Youth Counselors provide support to out-of-school, at-risk youth ages 16-24 in Camden County.
