GED Classes Bremerton, Washington

This post lists all GED® prep locations and testing facilities in the Bremerton area. In Washington State, you must pass the GED test to earn your HSE (high school equivalency) diploma.

The four GED tests are given online and at official GED test centers.

The HSE test offers persons who quit high school prematurely another shot at earning an equivalent diploma.

The HSE test measures knowledge at a level that compares to that of high school students when they graduate.

The four GED subtests are fully computerized separate modules that can be completed one at a time.

The subtests are in literacy (reading and writing combined), science, math, and social studies.

It used to be that online GED testing was not available. You needed to come, in person, to a state-designated Washington GED test center.

But that has now changed as we saw the introduction of the online proctored GED exam. Learn more below.

Can I join the army with a GED?

Your future

These days we can see more than four million jobs in the U.S. that cannot be filled. This is mainly because we just can’t see sufficient qualified people available that hold a high school or comparable degree.

Then again, we also can see more than 40 million adults who never completed high school. The enormous shortfall negatively affects the economy, which because of this is not running to its full potential.

The General Educational Development (GED ) certificate or diploma is accepted and recognized by virtually all employers, government agencies, and colleges and universities all over the United States.

By acquiring your GED certificate you will have a far better chance to get one of these four million jobs. Your income will benefit, you and your family will have a brighter future, and you are contributing to the overall economy as well. Getting your GED diploma is your first and very important move towards a better life.

Welcoming online GED testing

Until recently, taking the GED test via the internet was never an option. If you wanted to get hold of your Washington State GED diploma, you needed to show up personally at one of the state’s official GED testing centers.

But now, all of that has changed with the launch of a new online proctored GED testing option. A proctor will check online whether you do it all in line with some rather strict regulations. If you want to learn more about this great development, go to Welcoming the online GED test.
