For some students, learning with a physical class at one of the sites listed here is a good option. Others may well prepare with an accredited online course.

This website’s free online GED classes and practice tests can help you discover if online learning works for you. If it does, continue studying for your GED or HiSET exam with Onsego GED Prep, a program that GED Testing Service recognizes as “entirely in line with the GED exam.”

The HiSET exam includes five sub-exams that measure a candidate’s knowledge in these subjects:

  • English Language Reading
  • English Language Writing
  • Science
  • Math
  • Social Studies

The GED Billings MT has four separate sub-exams because the Language Reading and Writing portions were combined into one Language subtest (Reasoning through Language Arts).

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

All GED and HiSET Billings MT subtests are individual modules that can be taken in any order and, if you wish, one at a time.

HiSET or GED testing over the Internet was never possible. You needed to appear at an official Montana testing center. Recently, however, we’ve seen the launch of the ‘HiSET-At-Home’ testing option. Read more below.

The Montana HiSET diploma is accepted just like a regular HS diploma by virtually all employers and schools across North America.

Montana HiSET and GED Testing

Montana said goodbye to the GED and used the HiSET for its HSE (High School Equivalency) testing program a few years back. The latest version of the GED exam was only offered in a computerized format, and the price skyrocketed. So Montana, like many other states, decided to opt for another provider of the state’s high school equivalency program.

Now, Montana has decided to offer both the HiSET and GED exams for the purpose of HSE testing. The HiSET is available on paper and on a computer, whereas the GED exam is available in a computerized format only.

The HSE program gives adults a second chance to qualify for higher education and will definitely result in better employment options. In the US, we find millions of people who, for some reason, never completed high school, and Montana’s HSE program is mainly made for them.
