The Online GED Exam
In earlier days, if you were looking to sit for the GED test, you had to show up personally at a state-approved Texas high school equivalency testing facility.
That changed a few years ago, with the advent of the online GED exam, where a proctor will guide you through the process.
If you want to read more about the newly launched online proctored GED exam, visit ‘The online GED test.’
To be able to take the GED test online, you must have achieved passing scores (results in the ‘green’ zone) on the GED Ready official practice test.
For each GED subtest, there’s a GED Ready test, costing $7.99 each, adding $32 to your regular Texas GED testing expenses.
Free GED Ready Tests
Onsego students with an Advantage Plan will save $32. They get four GED Ready vouchers for free. That’s included in their plans.
These Plans offer an affordable way to prepare for the GED exam, starting at $79, an option that includes, on top of many more bonuses, four free GED Ready test vouchers as well.
