Posted in this article are all GED class locations and testing centers in the Houston region. Texas is using the computer-based GED exam for high school equivalency testing.

The GED exam can be taken at state-approved test centers and in an online format (only for qualifying students).

This website’s free online GED exam classes will help you identify whether taking an online prep course suits your learning style. They are great for starting your GED journey.

The computerized GED contains four independent modules (subtests) in

The GED program allows you to take (and pay for) one test (module) at a time, and the tests are offered in English and Spanish.

The GED exam was only available in person at official, state-recognized Texas HSE (high school equivalency) testing centers. Online HSE testing simply was never an option. Well, this has changed now as we saw the introduction of the online proctored GED test.
