In this post, you can find all GED classes and testing centers in the Youngstown area. Ohio is using the computer-based GED exam for High School Equivalency testing.
Additionally, Ohio welcomed the HiSET exam for this purpose, which is offered both on a computer and on paper.
The GED and HiSET exams can be taken online or at one of Ohio’s official test centers.
Both options measure knowledge at a level that’s comparable to that of graduating high school seniors.

It used to be that students who were looking to acquire their Ohio high school equivalency diploma never had the option to do so over the Internet. They always needed to come, in person, to one of Ohio’s designated HSE testing sites. But now, we’ve seen the arrival of both a HiSET and a GED online proctored testing option.
