Online GED Classes

A simple and easy way of getting your GED diploma.

Learn fast, stay motivated, and pass your GED quickly.

The HiSET® and GED® measure knowledge at the same level as what graduating HS seniors must command upon graduation.

You can prepare under the supervision of an instructor at one of the locations listed in this post. You can also use a good, accredited GED prep course to get optimally prepared.

You can attend a GED prep class at one of the facilities listed below. You may also use our free online GED classes. If online learning fits you well, we suggest you register with Onsego GED Prep, an online program that GED Testing Service says is “100% aligned with the GED test.”

The HiSET exam has five tests in the following areas:

  • Language Literacy Writing
  • Language Literacy Reading
  • Social Studies
  • Mathematics
  • Science

With the GED test, the reading and writing sections were melted into one Reasoning through Language Arts subtest, so there are four individual GED modules.

It doesn’t matter when you left school

HiSET testing can be done computer-based and in a paper-and-pencil format, while the GED is entirely computerized. All GED and HiSET subtests may be taken individually.

In the past, the HiSET, like the GED, had to be taken at an official Louisiana testing site. There was no online option.

Recently, however, we’ve seen the arrival of online GED and HiSET test-taking options, so that has now changed.

The GED or HiSET credential is accepted just like a high school diploma by employers and schools across America.

Visit “The Louisiana GED Test” if you’d like to learn all about qualification requirements, passing scores, or testing costs.

Introducing Online HiSET and GED Testing

Until recently, HiSET or GED testing via the Internet was not possible. When you were looking to get hold of a Louisiana high school equivalency degree, you personally had to appear at a state-designated HSE testing site. Well, recently, this has changed with the arrival of online HiSET and GED test-taking options named the HiSET-At-Home Exam and the OP (Online Proctored) GED Test.

If you take the five HiSET or four GED subtests (one at a time if you like) from the comfort of your home, an online proctor will oversee the entire process and check if you do it all in accordance with the regulations. To learn more, check out the ‘Online Proctored HiSET Test.’ More information on the Online Proctored GED exam <- can be found here.
