GED Classes Santa Fe, New Mexico

This post lets you discover all GED® class locations and test centers in the Santa Fe region. New Mexico is using two options for high school equivalency (HSE) testing, the GED exam and the HiSET®.

Both exams are available online and at certified HSE testing facilities.

Pass The GED in 2 months.

Learn Just 1 Hour a Day.
It doesn’t matter when you left school.

The GED is totally computer-based while the HiSET can be done both on a computer and on paper.

Both HSE exams are measuring academic knowledge at the level of graduating HS seniors.

The HSE program provides adults who didn’t have the chance to finish high school another opportunity to secure an equivalent diploma.

The GED comes with four independent tests (modules) that can be taken one test at a time.

The four testing GED fields are Mathematics, Literacy, Social Studies, and Science.

The HiSET exam contains five subtests (literacy includes individual writing and reading tests) that are offered separately, too.

Launching online GED and HiSET testing options

Taking the GED or HiSET exam via the internet was not possible. You were required to come, in person, to one of New Mexico’s official testing sites. The HSE test was just not offered online. Recently, however, we witnessed a great development with the introduction of online GED and HiSET formats.

To sit for the HSE exam from the comfort of your home, you must have a good and reliable internet connection and a proctor will see if all occurs in line with the regulations.

To learn more about the online HiSET-At-Home testing option, check out ‘Welcoming an online HiSET testing option’ and if you want to learn more details about the recently launched online GED test-taking option, visit ‘Introducing an online GED test-taking option’.
