New Mexico HiSET and GED test-takers no longer have to complete the exams within three years.

Launching Online GED and HiSET Testing Options

Taking the GED or HiSET exam via the Internet was not possible. You were required to come, in person, to one of New Mexico’s official testing sites. The High School Equivalency (HSE) test was just not offered online. Recently, however, we witnessed great development with the introduction of online GED and HiSET formats.

To sit for the HSE exam from the comfort of your home, you must have a good and reliable Internet connection, and a proctor will see if everything occurs in line with the regulations.

To learn more about the online HiSET-At-Home testing option, check out ‘Welcoming the online HiSET test,’ and if you want to learn more details about the recently launched online GED test-taking option, visit ‘Introducing the online GED test.’
