Listed here are all GED preparatory classes and testing facilities in the Salem area. Oregon uses the computer-formatted GED exam for the state’s high school equivalency testing program.
GED testing can be done online and at state-recognized testing facilities.
The exam offers adults who could not finish high school the opportunity to acquire an equivalent degree.
The GED measures basic knowledge at a level that’s comparable to that of high school seniors upon graduation.

Welcoming the Online GED Test
To secure your high school equivalency (HSE) credential, you were required to show up personally at one of Oregon’s state-approved GED test facilities. GED testing simply did not exist in an online format.
But that has now changed with the introduction of online proctored GED testing. If you want to read more about this exciting development, check out this page: ‘Welcoming the online GED test.’
