GED Classes Plano Texas

This article lists all GED prep locations and testing sites in and around Plano. Texas uses the GED exam for high school equivalency testing.

The GED test is available at official test centers and in an online proctored format.

The test gives persons who never graduated high school another chance to earn an equivalent degree.

The GED has four independent subtests (modules) covering the subject areas of

• Language Arts
• Social Studies
• Math
• Science

You may write these four modules separately and in your desired order.

The assessment is fully computer-formatted and is given in English and Spanish.

In the past, online GED testing was never an option. Test-takers had to come, in person, to one of Texas’ official testing centers.

This has now changed with the arrival of the GED online proctored testing options. For more information, check the bottom of this page.

Welcoming Online Proctored GED Testing

It used to be that the GED exam was administered exclusively at official Texas testing centers where test-takers had to show up personally. There was just no online test available. But now, this has changed as we saw the launch of an online proctored GED testing option.
