The exam offers adults who couldn’t graduate high school one more shot at acquiring an equivalent degree.

The General Education Development (GED®) test has four separate subtests, or modules, in

In Kentucky, first-time testers can take the 4 GED subtests for free under the state’s Skills U program.

BSCTC also offers Accelerating Opportunity Kentucky (AOKY), a program that allows students an accelerated track to a GED diploma and employment. Online GED Testing Introduced

Until recently, the GED test was not offered via the Internet. If you wanted to secure your GED diploma in Kentucky, your appearance in person at one of Kentucky’s official GED test facilities was required. But now, things have changed with the introduction of an online proctored GED testing option.

Today, you have the opportunity to sit for the four GED subtests from the comfort of your home with a format that uses an online proctor that will check if the test-taking process is in line with strict regulations. Go to ‘The Online GED Test’ to learn more.
