The GED test has four individual subtests (independent modules) that cover the academic fields of
- English Language Literacy

- Science
- Social Studies
The GED exam allows you to deal with the four modules one at a time and in the order you desire.

The GED program makes it possible for qualified adults to earn their secondary education credentials, and it allows them to pursue higher education, obtain good jobs, be eligible for job promotions, and achieve personal targets.
The GED diploma is internationally recognized, and the tests are designed to measure an applicant’s level of academic skills and knowledge in key content areas that students are taught during four years of high school.
Please be aware of websites that offer the GED diploma over the Internet. Don’t waste your money! There is now an online option to sit for the GED exam, but online-purchased GED documents are totally worthless and will not be accepted by employers, colleges, or universities.
Online Proctored GED Testing
In the past, there was never a way to take the GED exam via the Internet. To earn your GED degree, you had to report, in person, to an official Utah GED testing site.
A few years back, however, that changed with the introduction of the online proctored GED test.
