Online GED Testing
Writing the GED test online is not an option in New York. You may be eligible to take the GED test online in a different state without any residency requirement, though.
But then, you must first attain green (“Likely to Pass”) results on four GED Ready official practice tests. For each GED module, there’s a GED Ready test, so four in total.
You can buy these practice tests for $7.99 each on the website GED.com. So, that an additional $32 to the regular testing fees in your chosen state.
Onsego students with an Advantage Plan will get four GED Ready tests free of charge. That’s included in their plan, a $32 value!
