Phipps CDC provides the Literacy Connection program in partnership with New York’s Public Library. Participants, generally young adults who quit high school prematurely and read below the 8th-grade level, will receive intensive literacy instruction. The program is available at two NY Library branches, Mott Haven (the Bronx) and West Farms. The Literacy Connection program offers a rigorous academic curriculum that will move the students toward earning their high school or GED diplomas.
