Get Quickly Prepared To Pass The GED Test.
The test gives adults who couldn’t graduate high school an extra chance to acquire an equivalent diploma.
The GED® exam has four separate subtests in Math, Social Studies, Science, and Literacy.
Testing takes place at a level similar to what HS seniors must command when they graduate.
The four subtests can be taken one at a time if you wish. You are not required to finish the entire GED battery in one session.
Students taking the GED test for the first time do so for free through Kentucky’s Skills U program.
In the past, taking the GED test online was not possible. Personal appearance at an official Kentucky testing center was required, but recently, an online GED testing option was introduced as well. Learn more below.

Online GED Testing
In the past, taking the GED test online was no option. If you wanted to secure your GED diploma, your personal appearance at one of Kentucky’s official GED testing centers was a requirement. But now, the introduction of an online proctored GED test changed that.
You now have the option to take the four GED subtests in an online format, and a proctor will check whether you do everything in line with the rules. If you want to learn more, check out this post: ‘The online GED test.’
