GED Classes Littleton, New Hampshire

In this post, we list all GED (HiSET in New Hampshire) prep locations and test facilities in the Littleton area. New Hampshire uses the HiSET exam for its High School Equivalency testing program.

The HiSET exam is offered at state-designated testing facilities and in an online format.

The assessment is for adults who left high school before graduating and offers them the chance to obtain an equivalent credential.

The HiSET® measures, like the GED®, knowledge at a level that may be expected of students after four years of high school.

HiSET testing occurs through five individual subtests in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science.

The HiSET is offered both paper-based and on a computer.

In earlier days, the HiSET exam was not offered over the internet. You had to go to an official HiSET testing center and sit for the test in person.

Now, however, with the launch of an online proctored HiSET exam, that has changed; more information is found at the bottom of this page.

Online HiSET Exam

In the past, if you wanted to take the New Hampshire HiSET test, your personal appearance at one of New Hampshire’s official testing sites was required. There simply was no online option to sit for the high school equivalency test. Well, this has now changed with the arrival of an online proctored HiSET exam. The HiSET Exam

The HiSET is more affordable than the GED exam, though, in New Hampshire, the fee has already gone up to $25 for each of the five subtests.

There are definitely a few great advantages of getting your HiSET certificate. It will be far easier to get a (better) job because most unfilled jobs require a high school degree or similar.

In general, recruiting agencies and employers recognize that the HiSET diploma is comparable to a high school degree. Also, your self-esteem will get boosted.

By acquiring your HiSET diploma, you will feel proud that you set a great step towards a better life for yourself and your family. You have proven to be able to accomplish what is on your mind. Attaining the HiSET diploma allows you also to go on with your education. The credential is accepted by nearly all colleges and universities.

The passing score on each of the five HiSET modules is 8 out of 20. Your total score must be in the 45-100 range, and on your essay, you need to come to a score of at least 2 out of a possible 6.
