Online Test-Taking Option
In the past, taking the GED exam was only available at state-approved testing sites. GED testing could simply not be done online. To earn your Idaho GED credential, you needed to report, in person, to one of Idaho’s official GED test centers.
But an online option to take the GED test was introduced, and all of that changed. If you take the GED exam online, a proctor will help you and check that everything happens in line with the regulations. To learn more, go to ‘The Online GED Test.’
To take the GED test online, you must first reach green results on the GED Ready practice test, and this counts for all of the four GED subtests, so there are four corresponding GED Ready tests.
The GED Ready test costs $7.99 per subject, and they are available on the website GED.com. So, four of these tests will add $32 to your overall GED testing cost.
If you register for one of Onsego’s Advantage Plans, however, you don’t need to buy any GED Ready tests because Onsego’s Advantage Plans already come with four GED Ready test vouchers, a great $32 value bonus!
