The GED exam is computer-based and has four individual subtests that measure a student’s proficiency in these academic fields:
- Math
- English Language
- Science
- Social Studies
You can take one (or more) of these four subtests at a time; there’s no need to take the entire GED battery in one session.

The Online GED Test
Sitting for the four GED subtests via the Internet is now a possibility. It used to be that GED test-takers needed to report, in person, to one of Arkansas’ official GED test centers if they wanted to earn an Arkansas GED credential.
Now, with the arrival of the online proctored (O.P.) GED test, that all has changed. More information can be found here: the online proctored GED test.
