This is a complete listing of GED prep sites and test centers in the Cleveland, Ohio, area. Ohio is using the fully computerized GED exam for high school equivalency testing.
Additionally, Ohio welcomed the HiSET alternative, an exam that can be done both on paper and on a computer.
The HiSET® and GED® tests can be taken online and at official Ohio testing facilities.
To learn more about the newly launched HiSET and GED online tests, check out the information at the bottom of this page.
The exams are for adults who did not finish their high school curriculum.
This way, they are offered another chance to acquire an equivalent degree.
The GED contains four independent subtests in Literacy, Math, Science, and Social Studies that may be completed one subtest at a time.

Online Proctored GED And HiSET Testing Introduced
For earning an Ohio high school equivalency credential, your personal appearance was required at one of the state’s designated testing facilities. Recently, however, we’ve seen a great new development with the introduction of both GED and HiSET online testing options.
If you want to learn more about these online proctored testing options, check out (for the HiSET): ‘Online HiSET testing introduced,’ and for more GED-related information, go to: ‘Introducing online GED testing.’
