GED Classes Chattanooga Tennessee

This post lists all GED and HiSET prep facilities and testing sites in the Chattanooga region. The GED and HiSET exams offer adults without a high school degree the chance to acquire an equivalent diploma.

GED and HiSET testing is available online and at official Tennessee test centers. The HiSET is offered on paper and on a computer, while the GED is offered exclusively on a computer.

The HiSET has five modular subtests in the academic subject fields of

  • Language Writing
  • Literacy Reading
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Math

On the GED exam, the Language Writing and Language Reading sub-exams were combined into one English Language Literacy test, so there are four GED modules.
